Yesterday, the girls decided to go to GC to indulge ourselves with the so called famous Max Brenner. We were really stressed out for the exams and yes, we deserve a celebration!! and there's nothing better than feeding ourselves with C.H.O.C.O.L.A.T.E. This was my fourth visit to Max Brenner so far, the first visit was at Sydney last year when my family and I went there for a holiday. The second was during my bday last year and the third was when we had our trip sometime in September. I've tried most of the menu offered by MB and overall, I think I enjoyed the waffle and also the pizza.. Not to mention its sweetness, but the chocolate itself is too thick and smooth, which could really melt u down to a point.. but beyond that point, you'll be hyperglycaemic and overwhelmed by the chocolate itself.. But it is certainly worth a try but not something to be indulged regularly.. Definitely not good for your health.. :P
Nab and I left our place at 920 and met Sady at SouthBrisbane train station and arrived at Harbourtown at around 1120+.. Its been a while since we went to Harbourtown, and we spent a good 3 hours there. I didnt get anything from there except for grapes and yoghurt!! I love greek youghurt! It just tastes good! Then, on our way to Max Brenner, we decided to stop by to one of the beaches (not surfer's paradise). I dun noe what the place is called and none of us actually has been there before.. I love beaches. It makes me feel fresh and I could feel peace whenever I am at the beach. I've actually dreamt of having beach wedding in the future lols
Finally, we arrived at Max Brenner for tea time. I had the Banana Crepe and Italian Hot Choc.. It was amazing and fulling!! At one point, I became chocolate sensitive and I had to waste 3/4 cup of my drink as I was too overwhelmed by the choc.. I actually had acute migraine after the meal.. Just cant imagined how much calorie we have consumed yesterday!! @_@ It's ok as long as we are satisfied and happy.. right??!!
And before we left, we bought Biryani rice from one of the Indian store at GC. It costs $15 for a container. But, I think the taste of the Biryani rice was awesome and delicious.. and the portion is actually enough for 2 meals.. We left GC at 8pm and arrived at our place at almost 10pm.. it was tiring!! but we all had bits and bits of fun!
