Israk Mikraj tonight =)

i have to admit dat i totally didnt remember tonight is the 27th Rejab 1429.. i just realised it when i received a msg from my sis that they're having a doa selamat at home to appreciate one of Islam's great history.. I'm sure all muslims know the history about Israk Mikraj.. mcm sekulah ugama dulu2.. balik2 n blajar.. and i dun remember if we were shown a picture about it or not but sumhow, i have a fresh picture in my mind on the buraq and the masjid.. but was it just my imagination?? or i have seen it somewhere.. ntah i cudnt remember.. org d brn buat apa ah kn nyambut israk mikraj?? hmm mayb just ceramah n peraduan mengaji x ah.. ntah, i've missed this special event 3x dah.. :(

Let me refresh our memories of the beauty of this event.. basically, this special day commemorates the night of Prophet Muhammad's ascent to heaven. According to Al-Quran n Hadith Prophet Muhammad rode to heaven on a winged horse known as a buraq. It flew from Mecca to Jerusalem, then carried the Prophet through the seven levels of heaven where he met some earlier prophets of Islam, and brought him home before the night was over. After this momentous night, the five daily prayers were established..

i remembered dat prophet had to naik turun langit balik2 to reduce the total number of prayers that muslims should do daily.. which is originally 50 and then finally reduced to 5.. imagine hows life going to be if we have to do 50 prayers daily.. Masya Allah.. even 5 times daily is dificult for most of us to do it on-time, imagine if u have to do 50.. Maha suci kebesaran Allah.. Wallallahua'lam..
