Half Day at PAH

Salam, just a quick update.. I am doing fine hehe yes, I am starting to get busy everyday.. No more free day for me.. :( This week agenda seems to be pretty full too but I still can manage them, Insya Allah..

Today, Nab and I had our MSK exam on the spine and also upper limbs (shoulder, elbow and wrist/fingers).. We did our exam on each other and our examiner is Dr Mary Salvia, very sweet Filipino pregnant lady.. Our exam started at 930am and we were there at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) by 820am hehe semangat.. that gives us time to have our free coffee.. lols that is one of the advantage that you get if you do your clinical thing at PAH.. PAH is not my main hospital.. My placement this year is at Royal Brisbane Hospital ( a more city-ish, sophisticated hospital with loads and loads of patients and staffs..)

Our exam ended at around 11am and after that we decided to do one long case. We found a patient with Jaundice (kuning) at Ward 4C and did our history taking and examination.. Yea.. Another long case done!! Next, we went to the nearby Nandos to have chips as we are not sure if they serve HALAL meat.. We didnt asked coz we just want to eat chips lols.. and before heading home, I went to get some groceries at Woolworth also nearby the hospital..

Tomorrow, I am going to have my Procerdural Skills Workshop at 8am.. I think this tym we are going to learn how to do catherisation and also PET and all sorts of the tubings.. Hope it would be fun as always hehe.. Then, I have my pbl as usual at 11 am and at 2pm, I have CCS.. Not my fav of all.. Communication skills is not my fav here esp when you get to speak in your second language lols.. and I would seriously love it if I get to speak MALAY.. Sanang x ah.. Hope it would be fun and not distressing hehe.. I just hate to be put on spot for something I dun noe..

Wednesday, another MSK exam.. Lower limbs hehe and if I passed this exam, then my CC exam will be over!!!! hehe bulih sudah hantar nie hehe.. Ptg ada clinical coaching lagi.. hmmmm Thurs, path tute and Friday, pbl.. So yes, thats my acaedemic plan for this week.. Aza AZA fything!!!
