Back to Brissyland with great memories

Hi there, now that I'm back from my 3 days vacation to Sydney.. Oh well, what can I say about my vacation.. It was great!!! Although it was a short vacation, but we managed to see and experience the different sides of Sydney.. Generally speaking, the state is different from here.. Totally amazing.. Lain banar wah antara Brisbane and Sydney.. of courselah, Sydney is huge and more developed city, but then Sydney is more to UK style.. even most of the streets pun ambil nama sempena streets d UK.. I bet UK punya influence is much stronger there compared here.. But mind you, most of the populations sana org Asians esp those from China, Korea and Japan.. kadang2 mcm d HK jua rasanya when u tink of the ppl surrounding you hehe.. And the weather d Sydney mostly ujan and so chilly compared to in Brisbane hehe..

Day 1

As I have already mentioned in my previous post, We departed from Brisbane using the VirginBlue flights and arrived in Syndey approaching lunch..


We took a cab to the hotel, Rydges World Square Hotel, located at the city ;) I love the hotel location as it is close to all the facilities and after all, our hotel is located inside a mall..



After a lil bit of resting, we decided to go to Chinatown to check out the famous market, Paddy's market.. so, we took a cab and it costs us aroud $9 as it is not that far from our hotel.. We arrived at the Market City.. It is a huge, three storey shopping complex.. BUT kweng3x.. kadai2nya saling tak tumpah mcm kadai2 d KK or mcm Bukit Bintang, KL.. hehe bukan kadai kmilah.. curious kmi lah maseh mana marketnya.. We asked the information counter where about is the Paddy's market.. Rupa2nya.. aigoo, it only opens on Thurs - Sunday.. haha panya nda market on Tuesday!!!! Hmmmm so after jalan2 around the plaza without buying anything, we decided to go to other place and do our shopping.. It rained heavily that tym..


Our next destination is to the Bondi Junction Shopping mall.. as suggested by one of the receptionist in the nearby hotel.. We took a cab from Chinatown and it costs us around $20+ for a single trip.. Gila.. byk money wasted on cab!!! MAHAL lagi tu.. The shopping mall ani basar plg gnya almost all the shops atu kadai branded!!! NDa g ada yg lawa tu.. aigoo, there goes our $50 for useless transport fee.. Bt oklah, as for sight seeing.. Then, we decided to head back to the hotel area and just walked in and out of the shops nearby.. and bought FOOD!! We had oporto chicken, krispy kreme and also pizza.. Thank god there's so many halal stalls nearby the hotel.. so yes, nda kmi mati kelaparan ganya langgu kmi makan ayam th saja!! But the food served was delicious jua bh..


Day2

We decided to do sight seeing on our second day in Sydney after the frustration of not doing any shopping on our first day!! HAhaha.. So, we took the Hop on and Hop off bus, called the city sightseeing bus and made our way to the great places in Sydney.. It only costs about $35 per person and the ticket is for 24 hours.. and we get to go to all places of interests in Sydney including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Darling harbour etc and also the famous Bondi Beach!!! I love Bondi Beach very much.. It is so gorgeous.. very fresh and very beautiful place to relax and enjoy god's beauty of nature.. I would recommend any1 yg kn k Syndey k Bondi Beach or else you guys would be missing the opportunity hehe and I mean it ;)

We arrived the hotel area at about 6pm and had our dinner at Nando's restaurant.. The dinner was fulling and nyummy as usual.. Nando's x ah.. wat do u expect!! hehe

Day 3
18th June - Sis Lynn's birthday!! Mum bought a small mini cheesecake and tiramisu for sis and we celebated her bday while having breakfast in our room.. hehe.. Since our flight to Brissy is at 2pm, we decided to go to the Paddy's market that morning hehe.. sampaikn hajat ksana haha.. but before that, we had to checked out from the hotel and left our bagages at the main lobby.. nda jua payah kn d angung2.. The market atu basarlah.. mmg ada usul market hehe.. with lots and lots of stalls hehe.. mcm usulnya expo d brn gnya ani located arah bwah sekali and with more stalls and they sell variety of goods but mostly souveneirs.. They sell the souveneir at a cheaper cost compared to those other souveneir shops.. a good bargain indeed =)

We then head to the city to have our early lunch at the nearby Oporto's restaurant and had salad and also burger.. Hmmm a heavy stomach before leaving to the airport by cab.. We safely arrived in Brisbane at 330pm and headed straight home... Relax and just chillaxing with my family at home..

Overall, my holiday is a lil bit tiring.. but it is worth thousands of precious memories.. I had a great time with my family and the place is a great place to visit ;)
